The 9th Annual Conference of the Euro-Asia Tourism Studies Association, organized in association with the Department of Tourism Administration, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad (now renamed as Chattrapati Sambhaji Nagar) in the state of Maharashtra, India.
The EATSA 2023 Conference offers you a worldwide forum to actively learn, share, and sharpen your ideas from academic and industry professionals, alike. With the pandemic reaching its end, we are looking at what the future holds with our focus on: Tourism & Sustainable Development Goals: Introspection & Prognosis.
FEES
We have endeavored to guarantee the highest quality standards at minimum cost. For EASTA 2023 conference and beyond, we have developed a more equitable conference fee structure, based on the gross domestic product per capita (based on 2018 World Development Indicators published by the International Monetary Fund).

- All above fees for offline participant includes full access to all talks, keynotes, conference tracks, and breakout sessions, participation on conference day, journal submission, transport from Aurangabad City to Ellora Caves, lunch & GALA dinner costs only.
- Above fees exclude local transport, local stay, and dinner costs for the 2nd & 3rd days.
- Second or more Authors in absentia will have to pay 30 € per author.
- Those participants who wish to register for EATSA Membership will have to pay an annual membership fee of 40 € at the conference.

AURANGABAD, INDIA
Aurangabad, known as the Queen of the Deccan and the city of 52 Gates have a long history. Archaeological pieces of evidence suggest that the region was inhabited during the later Stone Age and early Bronze Age. The rock-cut inscriptions at the caves of Kanheri mention about the place known as Rajtadaga (modern Aurangabad).
The rock-cut caves of Ajanta & Ellora (famous for the 3D paintings & monolithic temple of Kailasa respectively) are the first monuments of India designated as World Heritage Sites in India. Daulatabad (Devgiri) Fort is one of the most impregnable forts in India is famous for its unique defense architecture. Khultabad a medieval town is famous for Sufi shrines and culture. The Jaikwadi Bird Sanctuary and Gautala Wildlife Sanctuary are important natural sites. The most unique attraction is the Lonar Crater.
The city of Aurangabad boasts of the Bibi ka Maqbara (Taj of the Deccan), Panchakki (Medieval Water Mill), Chattrapati Shivaji Museum, and the historic University Gate. Paithani Silk Saris, Mushroom & Himroo Shawls, Copper & Silver inlay Bidri Works are important handicrafts in Aurangabad.
The city of Aurangabad has been now renamed Chattrapati Sambhaji Nagar.

ACCESSIBILITY
By Air: Aurangabad International Airport is conveniently located, around 02 km east of the venue, and is directly air-linked to Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
The other nearest International Airport is Pune International Airport (240 km) from Aurangabad which has direct flights from Dubai & Singapore. (Frequent Taxi services are available from Pune Airport to Aurangabad. (4 Hrs Journey)
By Rail: Aurangabad is well connected to Mumbai and other cities. There are two trains that depart daily from Mumbai. The Tapovan Express leaves Mumbai early morning arriving in Aurangabad by late afternoon, while the Devgiri Express is an overnight train.
By Bus: There are several luxury and state-run bus services that ply between Mumbai, Pune, and Aurangabad.

CLIMATE
The best time to visit Aurangabad is between September to March as during this time the city remains pleasant and green. During the conference the temperature range would be 28-30 degree Celsius.
